I found the textbook to be quite good. So can the chapter on databases chapter The text offers a proven approach that has garnered student praise, increased IS enrollment, and engaged students to think deeper and more practically about the space where business and technology meet.

The text is consistent in terms of its use of the terminology across the chapters. The text does reference itself some, but not in a gsllaugher that would make removing certain sections prohibitive.

Since the subject of this book is recent information technology and the business world, it is a given that some references will have to be updated and changed, the subject area is just changing very quickly.
